Analyst - New Ulm, MN

The individual in the position of Supply Chain Analyst located
in New Ulm, Minnesota will manage supply chain product flow
to support customer requirements. The individual will be responsible
for but not limited to:
-scheduling procurement and manufacturing for a specified
group of products
-review material flow parameters such as order quantity, lot
size, make cycle frequency, replenishment interval, and recommend
appropriate levels to support the business/customer requirements
-manage raw material and semi-finished inventory buffer quantities
-monitor and report capacity requirements, special order and
stock service levels
-continuously work to improve the planning and scheduling
process
-identify ways to improve customer service, inventory investment,
and supply chain efficiency to achieve measurable results
and participate in implementation
-lead and/or participate in Lean Six Sigma projects
This position requires a self-motivated individual who communicates
and influences with credibility and confidence. This individual
should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
along with the ability to pay attention to detail. Strong
interpersonal and time management skills and a proven track
record as a team player are also required.
This position supports the Library Systems Division in New
Ulm.
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED
Minimum of 1 year of related supply chain experience (completion
of a Supply Chain internship is considered a qualifying experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
With High School diploma/GED, minimum of three years of supply
chain experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Production
Operations Management, Materials Management, or other Supply
Chain related fields is preferred
Green Belt Certification
APICS certification desired. If not certified, certification
will be part of the employee professional development plan
agreed to by management and the employee
Knowledge of Constraint Management and Lean Manufacturing
Principles
Proven analytical, statistical, and planning skills
Self-motivated individual who can influence others with credibility
and confidence
Detail oriented
Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new systems and
processes
Proven communication skills (written and oral)
Experience in leading change
Project management experience
Team oriented
Able to lead or contribute in a cross-functional environment
Proficient in use of Microsoft applications: Excel, Access,
etc.
